All business licenses can be applied for on our new Civic Access Portal. Get Started with Civic Access
This includes the following applications:
- Business License Application
- Construction Contractor In-City/Out-of-City Business Licenses Application
- Special Events Application (one-day license)
- Solicitor's License Application
- Street and Sidewalk Vendor Application
CONTRACTORS: Must have a Contractor's Business License with the City prior to applying for any permits. If you have an existing license, you must email blinquiry@cityofmerced.gov to get your Civic Access User Account linked to your license before applying for any permits.
Contractors shall create one Civic Access User Account to do all of the following:
- Applying for and updating their Contractor's City of Merced Business License
- Applying for permits
- Making payments
- Uploading plans or documents
- Scheduling inspections
- Viewing details for permit, plan review and inspection status and results
RENEWALS
Renewals can now be processed and paid online. To renew online, you need to register for a Civic Access User Account and email blinquiry@cityofmerced.gov to link your account to your existing license. If you are already registered and linked to your license, you can access your license renewal on you dashboard.
