Town Hall meetings Monday and Tuesday

The city Council wraps up its series of Town Hall meetings Monday and Tuesday night.

Monday the Council will hold a Town Hall meeting in South Merced at Tenaya Middle School, 760 W. 8th St.

Tuesday the Council heads to North Merced for a Town Hall meeting at Rivera Middle School, 945 Buena Vista Dr.

The meetings will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

Every year the City Council holds Town Hall meetings around the City to gather public comments at from throughout the community. The information is used to help put together the budget for the next year.

The public is encouraged to discuss any City issues they want. There will be Spanish and Hmong translators available at all of the meetings.

Earlier this month the Council held a Town Hall meeting in Central Merced.
