The City of Merced offices and the Civic Center at 678 W. 18th Street in Merced will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, in observance of the 4th of July holiday weekend. Offices will reopen Monday, July 6th.

Refuse, yard waste, and curbside recycling will be collected as scheduled by City crews on Friday, July 3, 2026. The Bulky Item Drop-Off will be open on Friday, July 3, and closed on Saturday, July 4.

Public Safety staff will continue to provide regular services. City Fire Department and Police Department administrative offices will be closed to the public.
