The Merced Fire Department will conduct planned live fire training exercises in the 100 Block of Hawk Drive on Tuesday, June 23, Thursday, June 25, and Saturday, June 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

The Department will also conduct training burns behind the City of Merced Wastewater Treatment Facility, located on Gove Road in Merced, on June 29 and 30. 

Residents may see fire apparatus, emergency personnel, smoke, and training-related activities in these areas during the scheduled training periods. These exercises are designed to enhance firefighter skills and readiness. 

There is no emergency and no cause for alarm.
