Offices of the City of Merced will be closed Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, to observe the Presidents’ Day holiday. The Merced City Council meeting, usually scheduled for the third Monday of the month, will be held Tuesday, Feb. 17. The agenda is available online. Trash collection will be delayed one day for the entire week. Residents with Monday refuse pickup will have trash collected Tuesday, city residents with Tuesday collection will have trash picked up Wednesday, etc.
