City of Merced Offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 27th and 28th in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. This includes the Merced Civic Center, Bulky Item Drop-off Site and other city offices.
There will be no refuse, organic waste, or curbside recycling collections by city crews on Thursday, Nov. 27th. Collections throughout the city will be delayed one day from the regular schedule. As a result, Thursday's service will be Friday, and the regular Friday collection will be Saturday.
Public Safety staff will continue to perform regular operations. City Fire and Police Department offices will be closed to the public. Call 911 for emergencies and (209) 385-6905 for non-emergency police services. City offices will resume regular hours on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025.
